KHS is the state’s largest pet adoption agency and spay/neuter provider. KHS envisions a day when every companion animal is given the care, resources and lifelong home they deserve. The KHS CARE-a-van mobile veterinary clinic offers support for pet owners who may not otherwise be able to access vital treatments for their pups, and who often live in rural, difficult to access areas. With support from Dogs Trust USA, they are helping local families by providing hundreds of free dog spay/neuter surgeries in rural Kentucky counties and providing essential veterinary care where needed.
