Formed in 2014 in Napa Valley, Jameson Humane serve a large geographic area made up of primarily agricultural communities in northern California, and directly impact the lives of animals by working with the community to protect, shelter, and offer financial assistance to low-income pet owners.
Jameson Humane offer spay/neuter assistance in nine counties primarily focusing on Napa and Lake counties.This 12-month DTUSA funded project will increase Jameson Humane’s abilities to offer services such as 200 spay/neuter, microchipping and vaccination vouchers for dogs owned by low income residents of Clearlake. It is intended that this project contributes to Jameson Humane’s overarching goal to further increase the live release rate at the two local shelters and to see at least another 10% decrease in intake by 2022.
